What is a VARK Subscription?

A VARK Subscription gives you a structured, professional way to use VARK with your students or trainees.

Instead of sending learners to the public site, you get your own private VARK site—where participants complete the questionnaire, receive their results, and where you can view and manage everything in one place.

It’s designed to make using VARK:

• Easier to manage
• More consistent for learners
• More useful for you as a teacher or trainer

You don’t need to install anything.
We set it up for you—you simply send your learners a link.

A Subscription is valuable when you want to:

• Use VARK with a group or cohort
• Track and revisit results over time
• Provide a more guided and structured experience

It turns VARK from a one-off activity into a learning process you can manage and build on.

What Do I Get?

Your subscription includes everything you need to get started:

1. Your Own VARK Site

• A unique web link for your class, trainees, or participants
• No advertising
• Immediate results for each participant
• Results automatically saved for you

2. The VARK Questionnaire

You can choose the version that suits your group:

• Standard (16-question)
• Younger learners (ages 12–18)

3. Helpsheets (Study Strategies)

Participants receive practical strategies tailored to their VARK preferences:

• Academic or business versions available

4. Worksheets (Optional but recommended)

Worksheets guide learners to:

• Reflect on how they learn
• Choose strategies to try
• Apply VARK to real situations

Available versions:

• General
• Learning-focused
• Online learning

Identifying a preference is only the starting point—these tools help learners act on it.

5. Administration & Reporting

You get access to an admin dashboard where you can:

• View individual and group results
• See summary charts
• Download data (e.g. for Excel)
• Manage participants and groups

You can also:

• Add your own text/content
• Control what participants see
• Decide when and how results are released

6. API Access

• Integrate the VARK Questionnaire into your own system.
• Note: API access includes questionnaire and results only—other features like worksheets are available via the VARK site.

How Does It Work with My Class or Training?

Using VARK with a Subscription is straightforward:

Step 1: Sign up for your Subscription
We create your VARK site and provide your unique link.

Step 2: Send the link to participants
They complete the questionnaire online.

Step 3: Learners receive results instantly
They can access Helpsheets and (optionally) Worksheets.

Step 4: You access the results
All responses are stored and available in your dashboard.

Step 5: Use VARK in your teaching or training

• Discuss results
• Encourage reflection
• Apply strategies to current learning

Understanding Pricing

A VARK Subscription is the core requirement for using VARK with a group.
It includes everything you need to get started, with options to scale or extend.

1. The Subscription (Required)

This gives you:

• Your own VARK site
• The licence to use VARK in teaching or training
• Access to the questionnaire, Helpsheets, Worksheets, and reporting tools

Includes:

• 30 participants (people who can complete the questionnaire)

Costs:

• $50 USD the first year, $33.50 USD for renewal in subsequent years.

2. Participants (Included, with option to add more)

Participants are the number of people who can complete the questionnaire on your VARK site.

• 30 participants are included with your Subscription.
• You can purchase more if needed. Pricing ranges from $0.40–$1.00 USD per participant (depending on volume).

3. Profiles (Optional)

Profiles are downloadable PDF reports providing guidance for each participant.

• Short Profiles – the shorter version with 5+ pages of guidance, including relevant helpsheets.
  Pricing ranges from $1.20–$3.76 USD per profile.
• Full Profiles – the comprehensive version with approximately 18 pages of guidance.
  Pricing ranges from $2.00–$10.57 USD per profile.

Increase your participant quota as needed. Any unused quota carries over to the following year when you renew.

3. Add Profiles (PDF Reports): Short or Full version

Add reports for each participant for deeper insight and guidance. You can add these at any time.

Legacy Options

These older Profile versions are still available for those who were using them before the release of our updated Full Profiles:

We recommend switching to the new version as these have improved formatting and include the information from the older Profiles, plus additional information relevant to the workplace and active learning. To convert your existing Academic or Business Profile quota over to Full Profiles, email contact@vark-learn.com
